Claude AI for HR, finance and office work
Work through documents and analysis with a brief, a source and a clear review step.
Practical skills. A clear purpose.
Explore Claude through the documents and decisions that fill a working day. This workshop focuses on well-defined tasks such as comparing information, organising a report, analysing a sample dataset and preparing a first draft. Participants learn to supply relevant context, break a large request into manageable steps and review the output before it is used.
What you will practise
- Write a brief with a clear purpose, audience and output format
- Use appropriate source material to support document tasks
- Break an extended task into reviewable steps
- Check numbers, quotations and recommendations against the source

Good questions
Before the session.
Do we need a paid Claude subscription?
Account and feature requirements are confirmed when the exercises are planned. Available tools and limits can change, so participants should not purchase a plan solely from this programme description.
Can we upload employee or financial records?
Use anonymised or synthetic material unless your organisation has explicitly approved the intended service, account and data use. The workshop is designed to practise the method without requiring confidential records.
Does AI make the final HR or financial decision?
No. The exercises support drafting, organisation and analysis. An appropriately qualified person remains responsible for checking the facts and making decisions.
